Apartment Showcasing a Highly Creative Layout in Arad, Romania

Interior designer Cristina Bordoiu sent us images of her new apartment in Arad, Romania, which she envisioned and developed around a central biking&nature theme. The chromatic choice were thus strictly connected to experiencing nature: beige, brown, green, suggesting the feel of sand, soil and vegetation, together with more vibrant accents found in the decorating units. Designing this small apartment so that it would suit the needs of a young couple was a big challenge for Cristina, one that she achieved brilliantly. All furniture was entirely custom made.

Pool Family Home in Israel

This modern residence located in Israel and designed by Luciano Santandreu for a young family with 3 kids grabs attention quickly and promises a unique experience. Considering that the plot is quite reduced, the architect has balanced the outdoor and indoor spaces for a harmonious effect and privacy, allowing free movement. One important aspect when designing the house was dedicated to the dining and living room, which communicate with the pool area and outdoors terrace. The pool extended near the border of the plot has a roof featuring several rectangular openings that let the sun go through and spread a beautiful natural light.

Split Personality: Home Accommodates Living and Working

Working and living in the same space can be daunting, particularly if the different zones are not well defined. This home in Saalfelden, Austria by architects Ma hoRe perfectly separates the working and living spaces of a physical therapist.
The physical therapist’s office is located on the ground floor of the home, keeping the space open, bright and airy. The residents’ sense of privacy is protected in the two upper floors where the home’s private areas are located.

Pampered Pets: Classy Furniture for Discerning Dogs + Cats

Just because you have pets doesn’t mean you have to give up your stylish pad. Forget about the torn-up plaid dog bed or the obnoxiously ugly plastic cat food dishes. The products from Architect Pets keep your home looking classy while giving your pets comfy places to relax and play.
The typical dog bed is basically a big pillow that lies on the floor. The beds from Architect Pets are more like tiny sofas that are perfect for an afternoon nap in the sun.

A Grand Lakeside Home with Rustic Charm

This sprawling two story lake residence, created by Texas based design firm Cornerstone Architects, enjoys waterside views out front with a tropical poolside paradise to the rear. Within the home rustic charm prevails, with warm wood grain, bold wrought iron, and terracotta tiling.
